What to Expect:
For Disney movie lovers this movie themed resort is a great choice for your holiday. Each guestroom has been colourfully decorated with large stars on the walls above the beds and TV’s are available to indulge your passion for movies. Around the resort guests will find larger than life characters from films such as 101 Dalmatians and Fantasia. Even the swimming pools have a Disney movie theme.

A fantastic family resort spread out amongst 10 buildings, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort boasts some fantastic amenities such as themed swimming pools and a World Premier Food Court. The swimming pools in the resort also continue with the movie theme, such as the pool in the Mighty Ducks ice hockey area.

Property/Local Amenities:
Activities for children are plentiful as this really is a children’s resort. Along with the themed swimming pools there is also a wading pool, a playground and games arcade on site. Souvenirs for friends and family back home can be bought at the gift shop, which stocks a wide range of Disney merchandise. When it comes to feeding hungry tummies, guests are spoilt for choice at the food court which offers five stations each preparing a large range of tasty American style food. The Disney All Star Movie Resort is located close to the two other Disney All Stars Resorts and is only a mile from Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, an all time favourite with the kids. Two miles away is Disney’s Hollywood Studios™, and just three miles away is Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. To help get around there is complimentary transportation throughout the resort.
Guests staying at this resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express service, so you don’t need to worry about arranging transfers and can start enjoying your holiday sooner. Coaches pick up guests at Orlando International Airport and drop off at Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels. Disney staff members pick up your bags and deliver them straight to guestrooms (for arrivals between 5 AM and 10 PM), making your holiday easy and stress free right from the start. Guests arriving outside of these hours should pick up their baggage at baggage claim and carry them with them on the coach.


Rooms:
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort boasts 1,920 air-conditioned guestrooms, carefully decorated to reflect the theme of the resort. Guestrooms are spread out amongst 10 different three-story buildings, which have exterior corridors and easy access to the main building. The main building houses the reception and the food court. All rooms are equipped with high speed internet access, in room safes, TVs and voice mail enabled telephones.


Dining:
The main dining option at the Disney All Stars Movie Resort is the World Premier Food Court. The food court offers a great variety of choice combined with fast service in a causal atmosphere. Guests can choose their meals from five different stations offering a range of dishes, including pizza, pasta, salads, sandwiches and rotisserie-chicken dishes. The food court is open for breakfast, lunch and Dinner. For guests enjoying the pool areas the Silver Screen Spirits bar serves snacks and refreshments right next to one of the resort’s pools.


Recreation:
There are two main pools located in the resort; Fantasia, the main feature pool, with a “Sorcerer Mickey” and the quieter Duck Pond Pool, located in the “Mighty Ducks” ice hockey theme area. The resort also offers a children’s paddling pool, playground, and games arcade to keep the kids entertained. For those who like the water Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is located within a mile of the resort. Walt Disney World® Resort also contains more water fun in the Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, as well as five 18-hole, tour-calibre golf courses and two miniature-golf courses to keep golfers of all abilities happy. There is also a huge variety of other activities available within the Walt Disney World® Resort, such as boat rentals at Downtown Disney® area, tennis at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and horseback riding at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
